Vintage Issey Miyake tunic from the ME line, in a rich teal blue, crafted from the brand's signature lightweight pleated and crinkled stretch fabric. This highly versatile piece features a button-front closure with a mao collar, long sleeves with flared cuffs and dramatic side slits.
The fit can be adapted in multiple ways: wear it fully buttoned as a tunic or dress, leave several buttons undone to create a deeper neckline and more relaxed silhouette, or wear it open as a lightweight cardigan. The side panels can also be buttoned together to alter the shape and drape of the garment, creating different styling possibilities.
This is a rare piece imported directly from Japan, sold as an original Issey Miyake piece from the ME line, most likely from the late 90s or early 2000’. Please note that all labels in the garment have been removed by the previous owner, which is usual for these kinds of of pieces due to the transparency of the fabric, for these reasons authentication cannot be guaranteed.
